Hints & Tips
When first used we have noticed that
people report that their skin's surface feels dry and accumulated a
layer of flattened dead skin cells….this
is normal. While the active ingredients get to work making skin improvements
and flattening the surface of the skin the revitalized skin is being
made under the layer of dead skin cells on the surface. Using our ExFole,
jojoba bead scrub, helps slough off this layer of skin cells allowing
the revitalized skin to emerge.
Any anti-wrinkle product must, by definition, be intended for long-term
use. Smile's formulation is designed to be used continuously and is
made from natural substances that are well-tolerated by the body.
Wait a few moments before applying

In vitro tests
Synthesis of matrix macromolecules:
Study of the stimulation of synthesis of extracellular matrix components by fibroblasts incubated for 72 hours with [Smiles' active] (1,3,5%).
Stimulation of gene expression:
Study of the regulation of dermal and epidermal genes by matrikines from [Smiles' active] using DNA-Array techniques on reconstructed epidermis and on fibroblast culture. Matrikinines from [Smiles' active] show a complementary gene activation profile with respect to the major mechanisms involved cutanious reconstruction.
In vivo tests
Effect on skin tone and radiance: 2 groups of 23 volunteers aged between 39 and 74 years. Twice daily application to one half of the face. Assesment of elasticity and tone by cutometry on the same group as above.
Anti-wrinkle efficiency:
2 groups of 23 volunteers aged between 39 and 74 years. Twice daily application to one half of the face with a cream [Smiles' active] against a placebo, for 2 months. Assessment of anti-wrinkle efficiency by proliferometry and photo compared to T 0. Surface occupied by deep wrinkles (>200µm) -44.9%
